While GetMyHomesValue.com started as a real estate online lead generation service, the company diversified its product offerings to include internet marketing services and customer relationship management (CRM) software for its subscribers. Today, in addition to connections with home sellers, GetMyHomesValue.com also provides real estate agents with these tools through a suite of services under the brand names Remarkable Agents and Prospect Maximizer.
GetMyHomesValue.com Company History
GetMyHomesValue.com was founded in 2003 and launched online in 2004. Inspiration for the company spurred when a competing company on the west coast proposed selling online real estate leads to co-founders Dave Conklin and Rory Wilfong, both active real estate agents at the time.
Both Conklin and Wilfong were realtors based in Lancaster, PA. The website was intended to provide the two with exclusive leads in Lancaster County. However, GetMyHomesValue.com faced a major initial obstacle – the company was able to generate leads from all over the United States. The company’s subscription-based lead generation service for agents nationwide was quickly introduced that year to meet consumer demand for home value information.
GetMyHomesValue.com proved financially successful in its first year, grossing over $360,000 (USD) in 2004. In 2005, GetMyHomesValue.com earned over $2.5 million; $3.6 million in 2006. At the end of 2006, Central Penn Business Journal recognized GetMyHomesValue.com’s success by awarding them as a finalist for “Emerging Business of the Year.”
In 2007, GetMyHomesValue.com began a transition from being solely a lead generation service to turning into a comprehensive internet marketing service for real estate professionals. Available to real estate agents for the first time in August 2007, the suite of internet marketing services GetMyHomesValue.com provided dramatically increased client retention rates.
